Before School Program Children can be dropped off as early as 7:00 am. Early morning care will be with a mixed age group, with ratios and group size based on the youngest child in care. Once supervision starts on the playground at 7:45, we will not accept children into the before school program. Drop-ins are welcome and will be billed at the daily rate. This is a flat fee and does not change based on when the child arrives. Advance notice is appreciated whenever possible. CHECK Program [Children's House Extended Care for Kids] K-3 students enrolled in this program stay the entire school day from 8am - 3pm. They eat lunch and go to recess with the rest of their class, then nap or participate in quiet acitivites in the afternoon. After School Program Classroom help, games, crafts, stories, toys and an afternoon snack are all a part of the after school program. This program begins at 3:00 pm when the regular school day ends and runs until 6:00pm. All children attending Highland Community School are welcome to enroll in the program. The weekly fee for this program remains the same no matter what time you pick your child up. Drop-in care at a daily rate is also available. Summer Program The summer program provides Children House students an enriching summer experience in a familiar place with familiar faces. Just like in their own backyard, children enjoy the long summer days in the company of friends. With plenty of time for daydreaming, art, and learning about nature’s wonders, it is a relaxed program established with the young Highland child in mind. Program Fee schedule |
