On September 21st, 2019 over 100 people had fun while raising critical funds for support CAMP HCS: Where everyone camps. They biked, scooted, or strolled along one of three routes along the Hank Aaron State Trail through Three Bridges Park. Some brave souls even went the full 14-mile distance!

By collecting donations to sponsor their ride, the Highland community got us closer to making sure every child at Highland gets the chance to explore and shine while camping.

Camping has been a Highland tradition for many decades. The annual camping trips in May allows students to use skills and knowledge learned over the school year in a new setting. It gives many children the opportunity to shine in ways that are not available in a classroom.

The trips costs $29,000 each year and every single student goes camping regardless of their family’s financial situation. Thank you for raising funds necessary to ensure each student at Highland experiences the wonder of camping!
